It is naturally resistant to stains, and it does an excellent job of maintaining its appearance over time. It can stand up to abrasion and daily use, so you will not have to worry about those inevitable spills from kids or pets. Polyester

Honestly, I am just trying to be a good interior designer here and give you all the information you need. But let’s talk polyester for a second. We do not typically recommend it because it stains more easily and does not last as long as other materials. Now, if you are looking for a short-term solution or have a budget to work with, give it a shot! It works in certain spaces, but we totally understand if you come back to us asking for something a bit more durable.

It has excellent stain resistance, thanks to its naturally moisture-repellent fibers. Polyproplyene or Olefin

Sooooo, just to echo the same thoughts we had about polyester, olefin also has its place in the world of rugs and carpets. We would recommend using olefin in outdoor spaces, perfect for après ski vibes on your patio or those cozy backyard hangouts. It is ideal for areas that see less foot traffic, but if you come back to us later asking for something more long-lasting, do not worry, we have got you covered! Olefin is a synthetic material that is highly resistant to moisture, mold, and mildew, making it perfect for rooms prone to humidity, like basements, bathrooms, or even outdoor spaces. It can handle the elements and still look great! It also resists stains and fading, even when exposed to sunlight, so your carpet will keep its fresh appearance over time. Jute
